The program will feature new works by Ohio-based composers Hong-Da Chin and Anthony Taddeo. Chin's ...time was not passing... it was turning in a circle... uses winding and repeated melodies to create a sense of stasis. Taddeo's Countdown is a sometimes atmospheric, sometimes explosive work inspired by the sounds of NASA's space exploration programs. The other works on our program represent the influence of rock, metal, and improvisation found in much of our music.
